A short entry based on a discussion with a CEO of a Snowsports wearable device company – which I feel will be very relevant in my work.
Two reasons a large company will partner with a smaller one:
- Have a prototype
- If the leaders are doing something that is scaring the smaller companies, you have found your leverage point
- In this case, the larger companies were developing wearables, which the smaller company had not started
- Approach the smaller company with your offering as the solution to their probelm
- Make a partnership!
